Privacy Policy

TwoNotes ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by Anxious Media, LLC. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the TwoNotes mobile application.

What We Collect

When you use TwoNotes, we collect:

• Account information — your name, email address, and profile photo from your Google or Apple sign-in provider
• Profile answers — your responses to compatibility questions within the app
• Session data — compatibility scores and insights generated when you connect with another user
• Device information — device type, operating system, and app version for crash reporting and performance monitoring
• Push notification tokens — if you opt in to notifications

How We Use Your Information

• Compatibility scoring — your answers are compared with your session partner's answers to generate compatibility scores and insights
• AI-generated narratives — anonymized answer pairs are sent to an AI service (Anthropic's Claude API) to generate personalized narrative insights about your compatibility. No names, emails, or identifying information are included in these requests.
• Account management — to authenticate you, manage your sessions, and process purchases
• Notifications — to let you know when a session partner joins or when new results are available
• Crash reporting — to identify and fix bugs

What We Don't Do

• We do not sell your personal information
• We do not show you ads
• We do not share your answers or compatibility results with anyone other than your session partner
• We do not create public profiles — there is no way to browse other users
• We do not use your data for training AI models

Who Can See Your Information

Your profile answers are private to you. Compatibility results are shared only between the two people in a session. No other users can see your answers, scores, or sessions.

Your session partner sees your answer text for questions you've both answered, along with the compatibility score for each question. They do not see answers to questions they haven't answered themselves.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google) — authentication, database, cloud functions, crash reporting
• Anthropic Claude API — AI-generated narrative insights (receives anonymized answer pairs only)
• RevenueCat — subscription and purchase management
• Apple / Google — sign-in authentication and in-app purchases

Each service has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore and protected by Firebase security rules that restrict access to authorized users only. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS. Profile answers are readable only by the account owner. Session data is readable only by the two participants.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen in the app. When you delete your account:

• Your profile and all answers are permanently deleted
• Your sessions are removed
• Your authentication credentials are revoked

Deletion is processed immediately and is irreversible.

Children's Privacy

TwoNotes is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email.
